Being a Mother

Being a mother is one of the most beautiful things ever. Mother, the gift that keeps on giving. There's no handbook, there's no right or wrong when it comes to being a mother, just love and what we think is best. A mom is so special and perfect in her own way. I don't give a damn what nobody say, nobody can love your kid the way you do/can. Think about the moment your baby first comes out the womb, skin to skin, your baby is instantly calm and connects with you. We have the most important, and sometimes overlooked role on earth. Meaning no matter what happens, mom has to make a way,keep going, and staying strong. God gave us those little people to love and nurture them, beginning in the womb to birth until infinity and beyond. From being pregnant for months, giving birth, getting back to your natural self, cooking, cleaning, working, mom life 24/7,etc. Then keeping yourself sane while adjusting to your new life. Some women go through postpartum depression, hair loss, adjusting to your new body, the new you, and freaking out about being a new mom. We are SUPERWOMEN, we wear the cape everyday faithfully, and from our children perspective, we are the superheros. It's so many women going hard, giving their all, and being strong for their babies, and that's AWESOME!!! Long as you know you're doing your best, that's all that matters. I thank God nonstop for my children! It's such a blessing; think about when you're feeling sad, down, empty, and lost, and your child come out the blue to hug and kiss you, that's a feeling like no other. It was one time, I was sitting on the edge of my bed with tears in my eyes and one of my boys came to me and said, "ma, I just love you so much" and hugged me, that moment right there, I knew everything was going to be alright. It was a sign from God letting me know I was doing a good job, everything is going to work out. They are a blessing from God, they are the love we need when feeling empty, the strength to keep going, and the help to get us through those rough moments. Just as much as they need us, we need them. Although, sometimes them little rascals can drive us crazy and test us, I wouldn't have it no other way. "Ma", "Mommy", "Mama", are the words used over 1,000,000 times a day, lol. People always are going to talk about what we do and how we do it with our children, do what works for you and your kid.But that's the thing, they are ours. We can dress them the way we want, feed them, teach them our way of doing things. We try our hardest to be perfect for them, provide the nice things, and just doing what it takes to make our babies smile. Being a mother never stops, so don't give up, keep pushing, and be the best mom you can be.

Letter to my boys,

I love you,will always love you, nurture you, and be there with and for you. You are the Chosen Ones, and protected by God himself. You're covered with the blood, guided by the word, and filled with love. You are awesome, and will be great no matter what you do. Your destiny and journey here on earth will be great beyond measures. I'm happy to be your mother, and excited to watch you grow. Y'all are my kings in the making, forever and more. My superstars, future rappers and football players. We got this, you have the coolest, loving parents to help guide you and be with you throughout this thing we call life.
